· Personality

STRENGTHS:

Sora is, and always will be, the eternal optimist, able to remain positive and upbeat in all but the most dire of situations. His personal strengths can be found in the way that he approaches his life; determined to finish anything he puts his mind to, brave in the face of things that seem all but hopeless; and smiling in the face of horrible danger. He refuses to give anything less than 110% in anything that he does, always striving to do his best in anything that he sets himself to task on, whether it involves defeating the Heartless or defeating Riku in an eating contest.

Sora's loyalty is second to none. If there is someone that he considers close to him, then there is no limit to what he may do to ensure that they are safe, going far beyond what most people would consider reasonable. There are countless examples to prove this; travelling from world to world in an attempt to save Kairi and Riku on separate occasions, giving up his heart in order to allow Kairi to have hers again, alongside all the assistance that he provides to those friends that he makes along his travels.

Emotion is never in short supply, either. He sees no reason to be anything but honest, and has no issue with expressing his emotions, be it to friends or unknown people, to ally or foe alike. The most consistent emotion he seems to express is happiness, always enthusiastic to embark on new adventures, to make new friends, or to do whatever with those friends he's already made.

What this sums up to, though, is that Sora's main strength is the strength of his heart.

WEAKNESSES:

While this may seem oddly similar to his strengths, at first, it's also true that the strength of Sora's heart can also be considered one of his greatest weaknesses. His enthusiasm to assist has given him a rather notable hero complex that results in him feeling the need to help someone in need, whatever this may entail. This enthusiasm can also lead to stubbornness, once he gets set onto a particular path.

Often, he fails to think things through before doing things. Most people would consider a fair number of his actions reckless, and he'll tend to rush into situations without bothering to think it through first, inevitably causing problems for those accompanying him. With this lack of planning ability, he tends to depend rather heavily on the powers that he has obtained, mainly that of the Keyblade, along with the support of the friends that travel alongside him.

In his mind, much as hearts are both light and darkness, he also tends to view the world around him in this same fashion. His classifications can be filed as either friend or foe, good or bad. This tends to cause internal conflict whenever he encounters something that doesn't fit into this view, both in the form of confusion and self-doubt. His devotion to those that he considers friends has caused him to become somewhat reliant on them, as well; when left to his own devices in times of stress, he often finds himself feeling powerless or frustrated.

As well, his limited life experience outside of saving the world has left him rather naive towards the way that the world actually operates; confusion or frustration often occur when he encounters situations that are beyond what he can control or comprehend. Despite this, though, he still displays cockiness from time to time when confronting or being confronted by his enemies; a trait that grew from recognizing himself as the chosen wielder of the Keyblade.
